Vault

Our OMPay Vault securely stores card holder details - including payment method information - so you can safely keep card holders on file.

The vault is used for processing payments, enabling seamless transactions for both subscription and non-subscription purchases. This eliminates the need for your customers to repeatedly enter their information for every purchase they make from you.

How it works

When your customer makes an initial payment or a card verification, the payment method is stored in the vault.

The card details is encrypted by OMPay Gateway and associated with a unique card token. This token can be used to create transactions without the PCI burden that come with handling un encrypted data.

Note

• Card holder's CVV will never be stored in the vault as it is prohibited by card schemes.
• Only successful payment card details are stored in the vault.
